Relative strength rank is a momentum indicator based on combination of short and long term strength combined with ATR to adjust for current volatility.
The Multi timeframe version long with signals only above or below +1 and -1 provide quite reliable signals and entries for pullback levels.
The RSR signal has been smoothed with EMA.

You can see three Relative Strength lines.
The lines are thicker going from RS1 to RS2 to RS3, for differentiation.
Using the three RS, you can see long, medium, and short term performance at once.
Volume Weighted Real Relative Strength (RS/RW)Volume Weighted Real Relative Strength (VRRS) measures the relative strength of a tickers vs. a benchmark ticker for the market, i.e. $SPY, and a benchmark ticker for the sector it is in. The calculation of VRRS is done as follow:

smaClose is the last simple moving average value.
Ref is Reference ticker
VolWeighted is the volume weighted factor and is defined as (smaVol_short / smaVol_long); where smaVol_short, smaVol_long are the simple moving average of volume calculated for a short period (i.e. 21 period) and long period (i.e. 5 days), respectively.

1. It can show two VRRS, one calculated against a market benchmark (i.e. $SPY) and one for a sector benchmark.
2. It shows also the bar plot of the benchmark ticker.
TurtleQuants : Relative StrengthThis is the customer indicator built by "TurtleQuants" based on the relative strength against the broader index. This indicator is built purely based on technicals and price action, does not include any fundamentals of the company / script.
This works the best on Weekly Time, while can also be used on Daily Time. This is not designed for hourly or Intraday trading.
How it works : It calculates the short term and long relative strength as against the broader index along with other technical indication, which can further be customized (Ex: we kept RSI length as 21 weeks default, however this can be changed based on individual preference or set-up)
How to use: This indicator triggers
buy signal when the indicator turns "GREEN" .....
sell signal when the indicator turns "Red"
If the color of the indicator is BLUE, then previous position status continues....meaning, earlier signal was Green and now changed to Blue, then its hold....and if earlier signal was Red and then changed to Blue, then watchlist, triggers a new buy only when it turns Green from BLUE .

Cumulative Relative Strength IndexIntroduction: This gem is straight out of chapter 9 of "Short Term Trading Strategies That Work" by Larry Connors and Cesar Alvarez. In the book, the authors discuss the creation of a custom strategy that sums the past X bars of the regular Relative Strength Index indicator, and they discuss how this modified "cumulative" RSI provides better entry and exit points.
How it works: This indicator sums the past X periods of the Relative Strength Index, and plots this "cumulative" measure of the RSI. Since the cumulation changes the score scale, the upper and lower bands are dynamic based on how many bars back you are summing for the cumulation. The upper and lower bands are adjustable with an input, along with the RSI length and cumulation period.
Additional explanation: The authors use this indicator on the 1 day time-frame, typically with the RSI length set to 2 and the cumulation length set to 2. Based on how the indicator works, under those settings the current value would read the sum of the last 2 day's regular 2 period RSI. Test it out!
Folded Relative Strength Index [CC]The Folded Relative Strength Index was created by Richard Poster (Stocks and Commodities July 2021 pg 21) and this indicator provides both trend strength but also momentum and of course reversal points using the overbought and oversold markers. If the indicator line is above the mid line then this shows upward momentum and when it falls below the midline then this means it is losing momentum. When the indicator rises above the signal line then this shows upward trend strength and vice versa. Buy when the indicator line turns green and sell when it turns red.

The black line is the Relative Strength Index performance of the Crypto-Index, and the red and blue clouds, show how far the Crypto-Index sits away from the Relative Strength Index of the observed chart.
If more Crypto-currencies go down while your observed currency goes up, the CARSI will sit lower and a blue pool will become visible showing that that the chart is performing better than the Crypto-Index listed above. If more Crypto-currencies go up while your observed currency goes down, the CARSI will sit higher and a red cloud will form, showing that the chart is performing worse than the Crypto-weighted Index.
The indicator uses only one variable that can be changed.
"RSI_Length" = This is the length of the RSI and is set to 15 by default.

⯁ SCIENTIFIC BASIS LINEAR REGRESSION
Linear Regression is a fundamental method of statistics and machine learning, used to model the relationship between a dependent variable y and one or more independent variables 𝑥.
The general formula for a simple linear regression is given by:

β₁ = Σ((xᵢ - x̄)(yᵢ - ȳ)) / Σ((xᵢ - x̄)²)

The goal is to estimate the coefficients 𝛽0 and 𝛽1 so as to minimize the sum of the squared errors — the so-called Random Error Method Least Squares.

In the correction phase, it calculates a Kalman gain based on the ratio of prediction uncertainty to measurement noise (R), which is determined from the variance between raw RSI and a smoothed version, indicating the raw data’s noisiness. This gain weights how much the filter trusts the new RSI versus the prediction, blending them to produce a smoothed RSI that reduces noise while staying responsive to real trends, outperforming simpler methods like moving averages that often lag or oversmooth.

Comparative Relative Strength - HongQuanTraderThis script is designed to enhance your trading strategy by comparing the current symbol with another comparative symbol. Default Mode
In the default mode, the RS value is calculated by simply dividing the base symbol by the comparative symbol:

Period Mode

Ultimate RSI [LuxAlgo]The Ultimate RSI indicator is a new oscillator based on the calculation of the Relative Strength Index that aims to put more emphasis on the trend, thus having a less noisy output. Opposite to the regular RSI, this oscillator is designed for a trend trading approach instead of a contrarian one.
🔶 USAGE
While returning the same information as a regular RSI, the Ultimate RSI puts more emphasis on trends, and as such can reach overbought/oversold levels faster as well as staying longer within these areas. This can avoid the common issue of an RSI regularly crossing an overbought or oversold level while the trend makes new higher highs/lower lows.
The Ultimate RSI crossing above the overbought level can be indicative of a strong uptrend (highlighted as a green area), while an Ultimate RSI crossing under the oversold level can be indicative of a strong downtrend (highlighted as a red area).
The Ultimate RSI crossing the 50 midline can also indicate trends, with the oscillator being above indicating an uptrend, else a downtrend. Unlike a regular RSI, the Ultimate RSI will cross the midline level less often, thus generating fewer whipsaw signals.
For even more timely indications users can observe the Ultimate RSI relative to its signal line. An Ultimate RSI above its signal line can indicate it is increasing, while the opposite would indicate it is decreasing.
🔹 Smoothing Methods
Users can return more reactive or smoother results depending on the selected smoothing method used for the calculation of the Ultimate RSI. Options include:
Exponential Moving Average (EMA)
Simple Moving Average (SMA)
Wilder's Moving Average (RMA)
Triangular Moving Average (TMA)
These are ranked by the degree of reactivity of each method, with higher ones being more reactive (but less smooth).
Users can also select the smoothing method used by the signal line.
🔶 DETAILS
The RSI returns a normalized exponential average of price changes in the range (0, 100), which can be simply calculated as follows:
ema(d) / ema(|d|) × 50 + 50
where d represent the price changes. In order to put more emphasis on trends we can put higher weight on d . We can perform this on the occurrence of new higher highs/lower lows, and by replacing d with the rolling range instead (the rolling period used to detect the higher highs/lower lows is equal to the length setting).

How to Use:
Inputs Configuration : Adjust the indicator's parameters according to your trading preferences. Modify the source data (source) to suit the price data you want to analyze. Set the RSI period (rsiPeriod) for RSI calculations, the moving average period (movingAvgPeriod) for the bands, and the smoothing factor (factor) for enhanced responsiveness.
Enhanced Smoothed RSI Factor : The indicator calculates the Enhanced Smoothed RSI Factor by applying an exponential moving average (EMA) to the RSI values. This factor reflects changes in price momentum.
Comparison with Standard RSI : Observe the Enhanced Smoothed RSI Factor and the standard RSI side by side on your chart. While the standard RSI offers insights into price momentum, the Enhanced Smoothed RSI Factor adds an extra layer of smoothing for potentially clearer trend indications.
Bands and Bar Coloring : The indicator plots upper and lower bands, which are derived from weighted and simple moving averages of the Enhanced Smoothed RSI Factor. The color of the bars changes based on the position of the Enhanced Smoothed RSI Factor relative to the bands. Green bars indicate values above the upper band, red bars indicate values below the lower band, and gray bars indicate values within the bands.
Overbought and Oversold Levels : The indicator provides horizontal lines at levels 140 and 80. When the Enhanced Smoothed RSI Factor crosses above 140, it suggests a potential bullish trend, while crossing below 80 suggests a potential bearish trend. Additionally, levels 200 and 180 indicate overbought conditions, and levels 100 and 80 indicate oversold conditions.
Additional Insights : The indicator's upper and lower bands provide valuable insights into potential trend reversals. Masculine Relative StrengthThis relative strength indicator compares the G8 currencies against each other in all 28 combinations. It uses the 200 period moving average as a scoring system. For example on eurusd if current price action is above the MA that is +1 for the eur and -1 for the dollar and the inverse is applied if current price is under the 200 ma. The higher the number the stronger the currency. The weaker the number the weaker the currency. Pair the strongest currency with the weakest. This indicator does not guarentee profits and past performance does not guarentee the same future results.
SR Relative StrengthThis is a relative strength model for Indian Stock Markets where in the price of the stock in the current scenario is compared with the benchmark indices ( NIFTY / BANKNIFTY) over a period of 55 days ( by default).
This indicator also has RSI and Supertrend built-in by default. Hence this indicator can be used in place of 3 indicators.
How to use?
1. When the background is blue, it means that the stock is relatively strong as compared to the bench mark indices over a period of 55 days and the RSI is > 50
When both RS > 0 & RSI > 50 the background will be blue. If either or is true it won't turn blue.
2. Superternd by default setting is 10,3 which can be changed as per one's requirement.

Percentage Relative StrengthA relative strength indicator that compares your main symbol (one on your chart) strength to another symbol by percentage.
The result is plotted as a histogram showing which symbol is rising or falling more in percentage.
In case your chart symbol is TSLA (Tesla) and the indicator 'Symbol to compare' is SPX:
GREEN area (above zero) means TSLA is rising more than the SPX.
RED area (below zero) means TSLA is falling more than the SPX.
To these who wants to understand calculation, it's pretty straightforward.
For each asset we calculate everyday percentage change based on previous close and current close.
We take main asset (chart symbol) percentage and subtract it from percent of change of the symbol we want to compare to.
Result are smoothed by SMA (Simple Moving Average)
You can select different indexes or cfds such as S&P500 (SPX), NASDAQ 100 (NSX), RUSSELL 2000 (RUT) and NASDAQ (IXIC).
Default is S&P 500 (SPX).

Normalized Relative Strength Index with Bollinger band This Relative Strength Index with Bollinger band is to determine strength of momentum of certain price.
Profitable RSI (Relative Strength Index)Introduction
As you know the Relative Strength Index (RSI) was originally developed by J. Welles Wilder and was described in his book "New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems" (1978). It is intended to measure the strength or weakness of an instrument for the specified period.
The most basic strategy is to use the crossovers as trade signals:
when RSI crosses above 30, go Long
when RSI crosses below 70, go Short
Exit when a crossover occurs in the opposite direction
What is this tool?
This tool is a performance scanner that uses a decision tree-based algorithm under the hood to find the most profitable settings for RSI. It analyzes the range of periods between 2 to 100 and backtests the RSI for each period using the strategy mentioned above across the entire history of an instrument. If the more profitable parameter was found, the indicator will switch its value to the found one immediately.
So, instead of manually selecting parameters just apply it to your chart and relax - the algorithm will do it for you.
The algorithm can work in two modes: Basic and Advanced "Early Switch" . The Early Switch algorithm makes some assumptions and activates a set of optimizations to find the better setting DURING the trades, not after they were closed.
The difference is illustrated on the screenshot below:
Additionally you can set up a backtest window through indicator's settings (the optimizers which were published before will get this feature soon).

USD Relative Strength Comparison (RSC)Simple indicator implementing relative strength against the equally weighted basket of major currencies. Perhaps I will coin it the Equally Weighted Index (EWI) and trademark it like ICE did with DXY.

DXY is hard to compare against other indices because of it's weightening. Secondly it does not compare against all majors and includes SEK which is not a major currency. Source: Wikipedia .
In this chart it becomes more clear why GU is in an uptrend. From April 25th USD has been consolidating against the basket of majors while GBP has gained in strength against the same basket.

CCY Relative Strength [USD]This script provides an indication of the USD relative strength against other major currencies.
The strength is denoted by sma(roc(close, p1), p2). The USD value is always 0.

If you set the SMA Period to 1, it simply functions as the ROC.
QuantRsi - Quantized Relative Strength Index - SNOW_CITY QuantRsi is a Relative Strength Indicator designed to improve on RSI's divergence confirmation. QuantRsi also functions as an entirely new type of range-bound oscillator, enabling "Hybrid TA" - the study and use of drawing tools on candles painted by the indicator.
QuantRsi paints full OHLC candles by default - displaying the full range of each candle's movement.
This tool sets out to accomplish:
Confirmation of divergence with a 3-anchor trading system
Show key price levels as whole numbers "quantized" from a scale of -10 to + 10; as well as commonly revisited levels within a trend
Anticipate divergence & turning points by charting on the indicator candles - trendlines can be drawn on indicator print - "Hybrid TA"
The result is an indicator able to process nonlinear price movements and draw range-bound candles with peaks and troughs that form repeating collisions with common tangents. QRsi illustrates trends and trend violations in a market with the advantage of behaving like a leading indicator. QRsi possesses a supreme ability to show divergence and confirm reversals/ turning points.
The dynamics of the vertical scale allows the formation of linear trends on the oscillator which classical charting can be applied. The support and resistance values for an asset will follow consistent incidents upon a tangent while the market is trending.
When a trend is violated, the break-up or break-down of price will revisit prior incidents both on frequented horizontal levels ("-1.4" or "+5.0") as well as tangent lines drawn from prior reversal points. Prior, violated trend-lines can be used as anchor points for a new linear trend - establishing a hypothetical market range before price moves into these hidden divergence zones.
Much like RSI, the extremes of a QRsi range (whether that be +/- 7,10 or the trend-established reversal value) are not always indicated turning points. Divergence does not occur at every turning point, but it does occur at most significant turning points.
Unlike RSI, QRsi adds the ability to visualize turning points outside divergence by drawing a trendline from prior turning points to the next anticipated turning point.
QRsi enables an asset to express it's price range within a flexible scale for that trend. The scaling has a higher dynamic range than classic RSI, at the expense of not filling the entire range of the oscillator at all times. An asset's highest and lowest trending values should be established by observation of prior visited values, not by the borders of the oscillator's range.

The dashed trend-lines represent trends that have not been established yet. They turn solid when they have a second anchor(in primary chart).
Trendline violations create anchor points for new trendlines
Turning points with and without divergence depend entirely on asset's prior QRsi values, relative on relative.
In the above chart, Qrsi Value "2" is a common reversal value. In the chart period that is shown, selloff ensues shortly after QRsi reaches 2.
QRsi Values range from -10 to + 10. The boundaries represent the extremes of anticipated market range for that timeframe. Unlike traditional RSI, it is rare that an asset will range from the lowest to the highest boundaries. Instead, common values for that asset are observed by studying historical price data. A lower and upper range is established based on historical trends. When these values are hit, it represents an anchor for divergence. You will find that reversals can occur on the +/- 3, 5, 7 and 10 values frequently, although, this is indication without confirmation.
Depending on the timeframe and asset, the common turning point for an asset may be -2 & +5, with outliers to -5 & +7; or it may be -1.4 & +6.5 for an uptrending asset. The horizontal +/- QRsi values which turning points are likely to occur need to be established by studying the asset and verified by divergence or trend incident.
Confirmation is gained by observing the 3-anchor trading system:
1: Divergence - Locally
2: Trend incident or violation - charted patterns, linear ascending or descending trendlines.
3: Horizontal value incident
In the chart below, common horizontal turning points, divergence, and trendline violation are used as indicators for trading.
Observe how the same horizontal levels are visited as support and resistance depending on the direction of the trend prior to visiting that level.
Note how there are 2 coincidences of Trend / Horizontal / Divergence for most of the indicated trades:

Notice how once a horizontal level is violated, it is often revisited which confirms it's role-change from S to R or R to S.

In the above example, the first two incidents are used as anchor points to reference where the third incident might occur.
In this case, you would have all 3 anchors, and a very successful trade with conformation of a proper entry prior to taking the trade.

TimeFrame settings:
"ChartTF" follows your chart's selected resolution / TimeFrame
"Non-Chart TimeFrame" is an integer for your custom TimeFrame, the setting below:
"Non-Chart TimeFrame" selects "Minutes, Hours, Days" that corresponds to the above setting for a custom TimeFrame.
Visual Settings:
"Show QuantRSI As Candles" - Toggle this to change from candlesticks to a simplified line. The line's value is determined by "Input for Stochastic" below
"Show Stoch QRSI" - Toggle this to switch to a Stochastic Rsi based off of the QRsi.
"Show Price Per 1.0" - Toggle this to see the range value, in chart denomination (USD,GBP,BTC,JPY) for each 1.0 step in the QRsi range for that timeframe. See this example:
The Quantization range values can be displayed by checking the box in settings "Show value per 1.0"
This will paint a colorless line and display the price value in the indicator's data window. You can calculate the rough price difference to any local value in QRsi by multiplying "value per 1.0" by the expected change in QRsi value.
Configuration Settings:
"Trend Bias" - Experimental setting for different asset classes and market conditions. Changes QRsi bias. Experiment with this on shorter timeframes. Leave on "low" unless you have established that different settings work better for a particular asset.
"Quant Preset" - This is similar to "Path Fitting Preset" on Heffae Clouds. Adjust this to print higher validity patterns on different assets.
The conformation that this setting is adjusted properly for your asset will be evident by backtesting the QRsi. BTC = 0 ETH / FOREX = 1 & 2
Experiment with this, as it adjusts the path-finding algo in order to paint valid patterns. The maths are too complex to integrate a single numerical adjustment, hence the preset.
"Upper/Lower Bounds" - This adjusts scaling and thresholds. Experimental only at this time. Use in conjunction with "Range Multiplier"
"Boundaries" - This adjusts the beginning of the shaded area on the top and bottom of the oscillator. Adjust this to a particular value instead of drawing a trendline on the value of interest. I added this because the shaded areas are easier to see on mobile than a trendline .
"Stochastic Short" - Adjust the length of Stochastic RSI SMA's
"Stochastic Long" - Adjust the length of Stochastic RSI SMA's
"Input for Stochastic" - Select the price source for Stoic & QRsi simplified line.
"Range Multiplier" - This amplifies the QRsi input to occupy a larger or smaller range within the oscillator boundaries. Experimental only at this time. Use in conjunction with "Upper/Lower Bounds". Very fun to play with.
